Nowadays, it seems as though time is flying by so fast! Feels like only yesterday I graduated from high school and entered SFSU as a freshman. That saying, “things happen for a reason” seems like the story of my college career. I took certain classes for a reason, I met certain people for a reason, and most importantly, joined many organizations that have changed my life for the better. Its crazy to think that all these experiences I have gone through and individuals I’ve been blessed to have met these past 4 years have not only made a huge impact on the person I’ve become, but opened doors to many future endeavors.
Who would of thought five years later I would be entering my fifth year in college as not only a student, but a sister, mentor, community advocate, and teacher? I can not help but feel truly blessed to be exposed to opportunities that not only make an impact on my life, but others as well. They don’t lie when they say that college will be the best “4” years of your life because it still never ceases to amaze me.
